Pre-Release Platform

Skill Vault is currently in a pre-release, prototype, and testing phase. Data handling practices described in this Policy reflect our current approach and may evolve as the Platform develops. Please refer to our Disclaimer for full details on the Platform's development status.

1. Introduction and Scope

SKILLVAULT PRIVACY POLICY Effective Date: [29-05-2026] This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Skill Vault, operated by SkillBridge Ventures ("Skill Vault", "we", "us", or "our"), collects, receives, uses, stores, maintains, discloses, and protects information — including personal data, program data, mentor data, and other data — when you access or use the Skill Vault website, platform, product interfaces, applications, demonstrations, prototypes, or any related content (collectively, the "Platform"). This Policy applies to all users of the Platform, including but not limited to registered mentors, mentees, client administrators, employees, and visitors (collectively, "Users", "you", or "your"). By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the collection and use of your information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, you must immediately discontinue your use of the Platform. This Policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service (available at /terms-of-service) and our Disclaimer (available at /disclaimer), both of which are incorporated herein by reference.

2. Pre-Release Status and Data Handling Notice

The Skill Vault Platform is currently in a pre-release, prototype, demonstration, and testing phase only. It is not currently intended for commercial use and does not constitute a live or fully operational product offering. During this pre-release phase: a) Data collected on the Platform may be used primarily for development, testing, and evaluation purposes; b) Data handling practices may evolve as the Platform transitions from pre-release to a commercially operational state; c) Users are advised not to submit sensitive personal, financial, or confidential information beyond what is strictly required for registration and evaluation purposes; d) Skill Vault reserves the right to modify, update, or delete data collected during the pre-release phase without prior notice; e) No guarantees are made regarding the long-term retention or portability of data submitted during the pre-release phase. 3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information You Provide Directly We collect information that you voluntarily provide when registering for or using the Platform, including: a) Identity data: full name, professional title, designation, and profile photograph; b) Contact data: email address, phone number, and professional contact details; c) Account credentials: username, password (stored in encrypted form), and authentication tokens; d) Professional data: qualifications, work experience, areas of expertise, certifications, and credentials; e) Program data: mentor program content, learning materials, assignments, quiz submissions, rubric evaluations, and associated program metadata; f) Communication data: messages, announcements, feedback, and correspondence submitted through the Platform; g) Registration data: organisation name, role, and any information submitted during the registration process. 3.2 Information Collected Automatically When you access the Platform, we may automatically collect: a) Usage data: pages visited, features accessed, session duration, click patterns, and navigation paths; b) Device and technical data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, and screen resolution; c) Log data: server logs, error reports, and diagnostic information; d) Cookie and tracking data: as described in our Cookie Policy. 3.3 Mentor Program Data The Platform is specifically designed to facilitate structured mentoring programs. In this context, we collect and process: a) Mentor profile data: biographical information, expertise areas, program offerings, and availability; b) Mentee data: learning progress, assignment submissions, quiz results, performance evaluations, and program participation records; c) Program content data: curriculum materials, lesson content, learning resources, and program frameworks created by mentors; d) Interaction data: session records, feedback exchanges, and mentoring activity logs; e) Assessment data: rubric evaluations, graded submissions, and performance analytics. 3.4 Third-Party Data We may receive information about you from third-party sources, including: a) Identity verification services; b) Professional networking platforms (where you choose to connect); c) Client organisations that register their employees on the Platform.

4. Acceptable Use of Your Data

4.1 Purposes of Data Use Skill Vault uses the information we collect for the following purposes: a) Platform operation: to create and manage your account, authenticate your identity, and provide access to Platform features; b) Program delivery: to facilitate the delivery of mentoring programs, track learning progress, and enable mentor-mentee interactions; c) Communication: to send you service-related notifications, verification emails, program updates, and administrative communications; d) Platform improvement: to analyse usage patterns, diagnose technical issues, and improve the functionality and user experience of the Platform; e) Safety and security: to detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms of Service; f) Legal compliance: to comply with applicable legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our agreements; g) Analytics: to generate aggregated, anonymised insights about Platform usage and program effectiveness. 4.2 Restrictions on Data Use Skill Vault commits to the following restrictions on data use: a) We will not sell your personal data to third parties for their independent marketing or commercial purposes; b) We will not use your personal data for purposes materially different from those described in this Policy without obtaining your prior consent; c) We will not use mentor program content or mentee performance data for purposes unrelated to the operation and improvement of the Platform without appropriate authorisation; d) We will not use your data to make automated decisions that produce significant legal or similarly significant effects without appropriate safeguards. 4.3 Mentor Program Data — Specific Use Mentor program data (including program content, mentee records, and assessment data) will be used solely for: a) Facilitating the delivery of the relevant mentoring program; b) Enabling program administrators and authorised mentors to monitor and manage program progress; c) Generating program analytics and performance reports for authorised stakeholders; d) Improving the Platform's program management and delivery capabilities.

5. Data Storage and Security

5.1 Storage Infrastructure Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure provided by our technology partners. Skill Vault takes reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. 5.2 Security Measures We implement the following security measures: a) Encryption of data in transit using industry-standard TLS/SSL protocols; b) Encryption of sensitive data at rest, including passwords and authentication credentials; c) Access controls limiting data access to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis; d) Regular security assessments and vulnerability reviews; e) Secure authentication mechanisms including email verification for account access. 5.3 Data Retention We retain your personal data for as long as: a) Your account remains active on the Platform; b) Necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy; c) Required by applicable law or regulatory obligations; d) Necessary to resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or protect our legal interests. Upon account deletion or at the conclusion of the pre-release phase, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymise your personal data, subject to any legal retention obligations. 5.4 Pre-Release Data Retention Notice During the pre-release phase, data retention practices are subject to change. Skill Vault does not guarantee the long-term preservation of data submitted during this phase. Users are advised to maintain their own records of any critical information submitted to the Platform. 5.5 Security Limitations While we implement reasonable security measures, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. Skill Vault cannot guarantee absolute security of your data and shall not be liable for any unauthorised access or breach that occurs despite our reasonable precautions. In the event of a data breach affecting your rights, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

6.1 Sharing Within the Platform Certain data is shared within the Platform as necessary for its operation: a) Mentor profiles and program information are visible to registered mentees enrolled in the relevant programs; b) Mentee progress and performance data is accessible to the assigned mentor and authorised program administrators; c) Program content created by mentors is accessible to enrolled mentees and authorised administrators; d) Announcements and communications sent through the Platform are shared with the intended recipients. 6.2 Sharing with Third-Party Service Providers We may share your data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Platform, including: a) Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers; b) Email delivery services (for verification and notification emails); c) Analytics and monitoring services; d) Authentication and identity verification services. All third-party service providers are contractually required to handle your data in accordance with this Policy and applicable data protection laws. 6.3 Sharing with Client Organisations If you are registered on the Platform by a client organisation (e.g., as an employee or mentee), certain data — including your registration details, program participation records, and performance data — may be accessible to authorised administrators of that client organisation. 6.4 Legal Disclosures We may disclose your data where required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to: a) Comply with a legal obligation; b) Protect and defend the rights or property of Skill Vault; c) Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Platform; d) Protect the personal safety of users or the public. 6.5 Business Transfers In the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to the same privacy protections described in this Policy. 6.6 No Sale of Personal Data Skill Vault does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

7. Mentor Program Data — Special Provisions

7.1 Nature of Mentor Program Data The Platform facilitates the creation, delivery, and management of structured mentoring programs. Mentor program data includes, but is not limited to: a) Program frameworks, curricula, modules, lessons, and learning resources created by mentors; b) Mentee enrolment records, progress tracking data, and completion records; c) Assignment briefs, submission content, and rubric-based evaluations; d) Quiz and assessment data, including questions, responses, and results; e) Live session records and teaching workspace activity logs; f) Mentor announcements and communications to mentees. 7.2 Ownership of Program Content Mentors who create program content on the Platform retain ownership of their original intellectual property. By uploading or creating content on the Platform, mentors grant Skill Vault a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and deliver such content to enrolled mentees and authorised administrators for the purposes of operating the Platform. 7.3 Broadcasting and Distribution of Program Data Skill Vault may broadcast or distribute mentor program data in the following limited circumstances: a) To enrolled mentees as part of program delivery; b) To authorised program administrators for oversight and management purposes; c) In anonymised or aggregated form for platform analytics and improvement purposes; d) As required by applicable law or regulatory authority. Skill Vault will not broadcast, publish, or distribute identifiable mentor program content to the general public or to unauthorised third parties without the prior written consent of the relevant mentor or content owner. 7.4 Mentee Data within Programs Mentee performance data, submission content, and assessment results are treated as confidential and will only be shared with: a) The assigned mentor(s) for the relevant program; b) Authorised program administrators; c) The mentee themselves. 7.5 Data Integrity Skill Vault takes reasonable steps to maintain the accuracy and integrity of mentor program data. However, given the pre-release status of the Platform, Skill Vault does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or preservation of all program data. Users are advised to maintain independent backups of critical program content and records.

8. User Responsibilities Regarding Data

8.1 Accuracy of Submitted Data You are solely responsible for ensuring that all information you submit to the Platform is accurate, current, and complete. Skill Vault shall not be liable for any consequences arising from inaccurate or incomplete information submitted by you. 8.2 Third-Party Personal Data If you submit personal data relating to third parties (e.g., mentee information submitted by a client administrator), you represent and warrant that: a) You have obtained all necessary consents from the relevant individuals for the collection and processing of their data; b) You are authorised to submit such data on behalf of the relevant individuals or organisation; c) The submission of such data complies with all applicable data protection laws. 8.3 Confidentiality Obligations You agree to maintain the confidentiality of any personal data, program data, or other sensitive information you access through the Platform in your capacity as a mentor, administrator, or other authorised user. You must not disclose such data to unauthorised parties or use it for purposes outside the scope of the Platform. 8.4 Account Security You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must: a) Use a strong, unique password for your Platform account; b) Not share your login credentials with any other person; c) Notify Skill Vault immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account; d) Log out of your account after each session, particularly on shared devices. 8.5 Prohibited Data Submissions You must not submit to the Platform any data that: a) Is false, misleading, or fraudulent; b) Infringes the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other legal rights of any third party; c) Contains malicious code, viruses, or harmful content; d) Violates any applicable law or regulation; e) Constitutes sensitive personal data (such as health, financial, or government identification data) unless expressly required and authorised by Skill Vault.

9. Maintenance of Data Privacy

9.1 Privacy by Design Skill Vault is committed to embedding privacy considerations into the design and operation of the Platform. We aim to: a) Collect only the minimum data necessary for the stated purposes; b) Implement appropriate technical and organisational safeguards; c) Provide users with meaningful control over their personal data; d) Maintain transparency about our data practices. 9.2 Data Minimisation We collect and process only the personal data that is necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. We periodically review our data collection practices to ensure we are not collecting excessive or unnecessary data. 9.3 Access Controls Access to personal data within Skill Vault is restricted to authorised personnel who require access to perform their job functions. 12. Service Limitations and Data Implications

12.1 Platform Availability The Platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis, particularly given its pre-release status. Skill Vault does not warrant uninterrupted, timely, or error-free availability of the Platform or the data stored therein. 12.2 Data Loss Risk Given the pre-release and developmental nature of the Platform, there is an inherent risk of data loss, corruption, or unavailability. Skill Vault shall not be liable for any loss of data arising from: a) Technical failures, system errors, or platform downtime; b) Modifications or updates to the Platform infrastructure; c) Discontinuation of the Platform or any part thereof; d) Unauthorised access or security incidents despite reasonable precautions. Users are strongly advised to maintain independent backups of any critical data submitted to the Platform. 12.3 Third-Party Integrations The Platform may integrate with or link to third-party services. Skill Vault is not responsible for the data practices of third-party services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective privacy policies. 12.4 No Guarantee of Data Preservation Skill Vault does not guarantee the long-term preservation of data submitted during the pre-release phase. Data may be modified, migrated, or deleted as the Platform evolves from its current pre-release state to a commercially operational product. 13. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe that a minor has provided personal data to us, please contact us immediately at legal@skillbridgeventures.co.in and we will take steps to delete such information.

14. International Data Transfers

Skill Vault operates primarily in India and the Platform's infrastructure may be hosted on servers located in India or other jurisdictions. If you access the Platform from outside India, your data may be transferred to and processed in India or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer of your data to India and other jurisdictions as described in this Policy. Where required by applicable law, we will implement appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, including standard contractual clauses or other approved transfer mechanisms.

15. Safeguarding Platform Interests

15.1 Platform Integrity Skill Vault reserves the right to monitor, review, and analyse data submitted to and processed through the Platform to: a) Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service; b) Ensure the security and integrity of the Platform and its users; c) Comply with applicable legal obligations; d) Protect the intellectual property and proprietary interests of Skill Vault. 15.2 Enforcement Rights Skill Vault reserves the right to: a) Suspend or terminate access to the Platform for users who violate this Policy or our Terms of Service; b) Retain data as necessary to investigate and address violations; c) Disclose data to law enforcement or regulatory authorities where required by law or where necessary to protect the rights and interests of Skill Vault and its users. 15.3 Proprietary Data and Analytics Aggregated, anonymised data derived from Platform usage may be used by Skill Vault for internal analytics, product development, and business intelligence purposes. Such aggregated data does not identify individual users and is not subject to the personal data protections described in this Policy. 15.4 Intellectual Property in Data Skill Vault retains all rights in the Platform's infrastructure, systems, and any proprietary data models, analytics frameworks, or derived insights generated from Platform operations. Nothing in this Policy shall be construed as transferring any intellectual property rights in the Platform or its underlying systems to users.

16. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its amendments, and applicable data protection regulations. Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to users in the European Economic Area, we will comply with its requirements in addition to applicable Indian law. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

Skill Vault reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Platform. We will notify registered users of material changes to this Policy by email or through a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically for any updates.
